Hopeful

In being hopeful I found a steady breath
At a time when it was all I had left.

In being hopeful I found a rested soul,
And an open mind to see possibilities grow.

In being hopeful I learned to live with intent,
And to spend time wisely, so I’ll have no regrets in the end.
